Morning Manna

mannaYears ago on an earlier website, I shared my morning worship thoughts and inspirational texts and quotes with anyone who cared to log in and browse. Now again, I am sharing inspirational thoughts and concepts, but this time in the medium of short articles on a variety of subjects.

These are meant to be upbeat, hopeful and encouraging, and to spur us on to greater faith in God and His ways of dealing with the sin problem in our day to day lives. I try to use true stories from my own experience, and thoughts that come to me while I am studying or writing.

If these can be helpful to any, my purpose will have been accomplished. You are free to comment, or ask questions about other topics that I have not addressed before. I will try to answer these in due time from the insights I receive during prayer and study.

I don’t claim to have all the answers, but I do try to keep open to the leading of the Holy Spirit working through the Word, and I love to explore new horizons, and new vistas of learning, as long as they are firmly rooted and grounded in the Scriptures and our precious Adventist heritage.

I do not pursue spacey theoretical ideas that cannot be founded in the Bible, and backed up by the Spirit of Prophecy writings. We have plenty to discover in that arena without chasing fanciful interpretations that lead us into human speculation. That is not to say that we can never speculate, but in doing so, we must not get away from a “Thus saith the Lord.”

So in our interchange with each other, let us pursue truth as it is revealed, and as the scroll unrolls for our day and time.

May God bless us all as we embark on this adventure.

Yours for continued and challenging study,
Carol
